The Home Cottage Details
The Home Cottage is architect designed and newly built (completed in November 2016) and sleeps four in two bedrooms. The house is fully central heated.
The cottage is very peaceful and sits at the end of a long track surrounded by farmland. The front of the house is south facing and the cottage is in an elevated position with wonderful views out over the surrounding fields and trees.
There is a large garden of approximately 0.2 acres with flower borders and a large area of grass at the rear of the cottage which is suitable for ball games. In front of the cottage is a patio with teak table and chairs for guests to sit and enjoy the view. A sun parasol and barbecue is provided to allow guests to make the most of sunny summer days. The cottage has off-road parking for two cars on the gravel driveway.
Inside the cottage has a well equipped fitted kitchen with a good range of appliances including a full-sized dish-washer. The kitchen also has a small dining area with two chairs and a bench. Next door is the sitting room which has a woodburner to allow you to cozy up on cold winter nights (or even chilly summer evenings) - a basket of logs is supplied and the fire is laid and ready to be lit. The cottage also has a good sized utility room complete with washing machine and lots of space for coats and wet walking boots. This room is also ideal for a well-behaved dog to stay.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and windows to south and east - ideal for the morning sun. The second bedroom is small, but has room for two in bunk beds with full sized single matresses.
On arrival guests will find the cottage fully prepared with freshly ironed cotton bedding and fluffy white towels and face flannels. Milk, cookies, tea, coffee and sugar are provided along with fresh flowers from my garden.

Maximum occupancy is four guests. One well behaved dog is also accepted, but please do not allow it on the furniture or to go upstairs.
